Nature-based fun, active, and informative adventure trips for women who are dreaming of going to Iceland. Let us help you fall in love with Iceland.
Ladies, if you are looking for a way to experience Iceland like a local, then join us on one of our three adventures to this tiny island in the North Atlantic in July & August 2020. Choose from 9 and 10 days multi-sport or 7-days though-hiking.
We offer two multi-sport trips that bring out your inner Viking and get you exploring Iceland by paddle, saddle, and on foot. These trips cover a lot of ground from the west to the southeast and have a variety of experiences that help you get in touch with Iceland’s wild side. The mulit-sport trips are designed for the beginner and tailored to the group. Each trip is 90% planned with 10% set aside for spontaneous adventure. No one trip is like the other. The groups are small and range from 12-16 participants per trip led by your local driver & guide and supported by your trip leader. From the time you reach Reykjavik all of the planning has been done for you.
Calling all hikers! In August we are taking a group of up to 16 through the highlands of the south coast. This 40-mile through-hike is an other-worldly experience. You will walk 6-7 hours per day through steaming geothermal valleys, cross snow covered canyons, fjord rivers, and sleep in quaint mountain huts. You don’t have to be a sherpa to do the hike, but some experience hiking with a backpack is suggested. It is a rewarding challenge set in what Nat Geo calls one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the world.
Take a look at the descriptions below. Click on the links to the itineraries. If you have questions, feel free to use the chat feature to get in touch with trip leader (Tara Short). The 10-day multi-sport trip and the 7-day hiking trip have early bird discounts that expire January 15th.

What we love about this trip…
This trip is the 9-day trip with a bonus day in Thorsmork to experience a little bit of the wild side of Iceland. We cover a lot of ground including 3 national parks and an adventure in Thorsmork Conservation Area — few tourists ever get to this forest paradise. Getting there is an adventure in itself. We have to take a big wheel 4 x 4 through a glacial river. We go to off-the-bean path and popular places. The food is delicious. Restaurants serve fresh cod, trout, salmon, and lamb with high quality fresh ingredients. Vegetarian, and gluten-free options are available. Iceland has an energy about and visitors fall in love with this tiny island in a very big way.
