Our women’s adventure and safari to Tanzania was like story-book fairytale complete with magical rainbows and extraordinary animals. In the spirit of adventure, 12 women from all over the US and Canada explored Tanzania’s Northern Circuit: Arusha National Park, Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, and Tarangire National Park. We saw the royalty of the Serengeti; the lions, leopards, and cheetahs. We had front row seats to a huge heard of elephants dancing in the rain. We sang songs with and danced with people who didn’t know our language (or us theirs). Fairytales always have a happy ending, and for all of us it was looking back at our long list of species observed, reminiscing about Tanzania’s beautiful landscapes, and meeting people from cultures very different from our own, all in the company of a great group of Adventure Buddies, and life-long friends.
