Green Edventures Tours celebrates 10 years of fighting change through carbon offsets in partnership with Carbonfund.org in 2020.

Green Edventures helps protect people, places, and ecosystems through sustainable tourism. A portion of each trip fee is used to offset the carbon footprint of our eco-tours. Our partners at Carbonfund.org helped us celebrate our milestone of offsetting 1138 metric tonnes of CO2 by planting 100 trees on our behalf. Those trees will not only provide critical habitat, they absorb atmospheric carbon and contribute to the fight against global warming.

Since the industrial revolution the atmospheric carbon parts per million has increased. You can go to the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration’s website (ihttps://www.esrl.noaa.gov/gmd/ccgg/trends/.) There are stations worldwide from urban landscapes to wilderness. From sea level to mountain tops. Measuring carbon in the atmosphere.
What we know about carbon:
It is good in moderation.

By reducing our carbon footprint, everyone can make a difference and help stop climate change. Even if you think climate change is a hoax, you cannot deny that we have a carbon problem. Reducing the amount of atmospheric carbon will make our planet healthier and our communities cleaner! Individuals can make a difference. Ways to reduce your carbonfoot print include: walking or biking instead of driving, taking shorter showers, unplug electronics, turn off lights, buy local, and eat less meat. For the parts of your lifestyle you can’t reduce, offset using our partners Carbonfund.org. Click here to learn how individuals can offset their carbon footprint.
