Costa Rica Wild & Off-The-Beaten Path is a weeklong adventure in partnership with Becoming an Outdoors Woman. Many of the participants come in a day early for a pre-trip to the Orosi Valley that included a hike at the Irazu Volcano, a visit to an organic coffee plantation, and then a wonderful soak in a hot spring with an infinity pool overlooking the rainforest.

The real adventure began on Feb 3 when we headed to the southwest coast. For the next week, we explored the habitats of the Osa Peninsula from mangroves, to shallow reefs, to primary rainforest floor to canopy.  The link below will connect you to the official trip report. Each day, one person volunteered to compose an entry. The result is an authentic narrative of our adventure together and a priceless souvenir of a once in a lifetime experience. If you are interested in joining us in February 2020, please email tara@3.17.200.177 to get on the email list to be first to know when the trip is open for registration.
